Rare Gold Window Opens December 30th?

Dear Reader,

’Gold has hit a new all-time-high…

Everyone in the mainstream media and on Wall Street are talking about it…

But there’s a much bigger side to the gold story that almost everyone is missing…

According to my research…

Thanks to this once-in-a-lifetime window…

The boom in gold has only just begun.

In fact, I have a price target of $10,000 per ounce within the next 12 months alone.

So, you aren’t too late.

This short video shows you everything you need to know about this coming window.

Regards,

Jim Rickards

Good Morning!

☕ Americans love a good sale.

Put a 30% OFF sign on a television and we'll camp outside Best Buy like we're waiting for Taylor Swift tickets.

But gold drops roughly 28% from its reported peak?

Suddenly everybody's acting like the store is on fire. 😂

Gold recently slipped below $4,000 an ounce, despite continuing concerns about inflation.

And investors are nervous.

Which is interesting, because I thought gold was supposed to protect us from inflation.

Apparently, gold didn't get the memo.

Here's what's happening.

Gold doesn't pay interest. Treasury bonds do.

So when interest rates stay elevated, interest-paying investments can become more attractive. A stronger U.S. dollar can also put pressure on gold prices.

In other words, gold can fall even when people are worried about the purchasing power of their money.

That's the part nobody puts on the commemorative gold coin commercials.

But here's what I find fascinating.

When something we WANT gets cheaper, we celebrate.

When something we OWN gets cheaper, we panic.

Same mathematics.

Completely different blood pressure.

Now, a falling price doesn't automatically make something a bargain. Gold could fall further. And unlike a rental property or dividend-paying stock, physical gold doesn't generate cash flow.

That's why Robert talks about understanding the difference between an asset's price, its value, and its purpose in your financial plan.

Are you buying gold to speculate on a price increase?

To diversify?

To hold outside the financial system?

Those are three different reasons, and they require three different ways of thinking.

The worst time to figure out why you own something is when its price starts falling.

Personally, I asked my wife whether we should take advantage of gold's decline.

She said, "You said the same thing when those $400 golf clubs went on sale."

I explained that this was completely different.

Gold is a precious metal.

My golf clubs are apparently just expensive landscaping equipment. 😂

Your thoughts

A HAMSTER PICKED CRYPTO BY RUNNING THROUGH TUNNELS.
FOR A WHILE, HE WAS BEATING THE S&P 500. 🐹

You study charts.
You watch financial news.
You research investments until your eyes hurt.

This guy ran on a wheel and crawled through a tube.

Meet Mr. Goxx.

In 2021, his humans connected a specially built hamster enclosure to a cryptocurrency trading system.

Running on his wheel selected a cryptocurrency.

Walking through one tunnel triggered a buy.
Walking through the other triggered a sell.

Real trades. Real money.

By September 2021, NPR reported his portfolio had gained nearly 20% since June. At one point, he was outperforming the S&P 500 and Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway.

Imagine explaining that at your investment committee meeting.

“We’ve reviewed our performance, and the problem appears to be insufficient bedding.”

Of course, a few winning months don’t prove a strategy works. Especially when your chief investment officer can be distracted by a sunflower seed.

That’s the lesson:

A profitable trade doesn’t automatically mean you made a smart decision.

Sometimes luck looks like genius.

Sometimes it has whiskers.
